The site security camera's don't produce the best quality images in the world, but at least we can see the site progressing.
Whessoe are producing the detail design for the two LNG tanks, the image above shows the Tank01 ground works under construction.
The site has had 3 metres of engineered fill laid to give some stability to the upper layer. The ground has provided some challenges, the site is a very remote location on the east coast of India and very close to the coast line.
The piling design and geotechnical studies have progressed down many avenue's, but at least we have finally go to test pile construction and testing stage, so we'll soon see if the actual values replicate the theoretical analysis numbers.
I'm the PM for the detail design phase, working closely with our EPC (LTHE) for the project. We look forward to more projects with LTHE going forward.
Hi at what depth piling has been installed. Thickness of the pile pipes. Diameter. I hope this is spiral welded single large piece. Grade of pipe ,,thanks in advance . is there any concrete filled in the pipe at some distance. and 3 meters engineered filled what exactly filled , Sand and what
