I took the opportunity to drive by one of my old projects last weekend, in sunny Kent, the garden of England. I lived in Sandwich for two years, watching the building grow from a flat ploughed field.
Fluor were the EPC, building 530 was the last in a long chain of new buildings at the Pfizer site.
From design through to sub contractor and equipment selection, then onto construction, co-ordination, fit out and commission, it was a thoroughly enjoyable project.
It's always a pleasure to return to a site where so much was learnt, I remember it well, it feels like it was only yesterday.
Kind Regards,
Garry T.
