LNG Tank Re-Validation - Column Supported Roof - 50,000 CuM

A rare opportunity to see the inside of a Tank that was designed some 40 years ago. In order to continue in operation for another 25 years, the re-validation work uses 3D scanning technology to determine the shape of the Tank. Weld and material inspection / surveys are completed. The outer annular space has all its insulation materials removed and replaced, with many other hydro and leak tests preformed to ensure compliance with the latest codes. Texas - LNG Terminal - Tank Design

Extremely pleased to be appointed as the Project Manager for Whessoe on this new LNG Terminal in Texas. This is our first project for Bechtel, providing an excellent opportunity to develop a long term relationship with a premier US EPC. The Tank design provides a significant shift from our recent projects in India and Asia, providing an increased challenge to the team. Challenging times ahead for us all for so many reasons, looking forward to what these new times will bring. Good Health to everyone.
