The Smart Plant model details both tanks and includes all of the civil and structural requirements of the Pipe tower and platforms.
In addition to the 42 inch LNG fill lines, all pipes and supports are detailed.
The E&I containment are included along with all the lighting locations and steel work supports located.
All the valves and flowmeters, ESD, F&G and deluge systems are shown, this includes the Jib crane and hoist equipment that enable the maintenance functions of the facility.
Pipe stressing, Pressure relief and Vacuum relief all provided constant challenges through the model's life cycle development, with EN1473 code compliance and client preference being applied throughout.
The 3D model was developed by the Whessoe design team in Darlington, working closely with AFW in Malaysia who were responsible for the design of the BOP Regasification section of the terminal.
We presened the 3D model to the client at Project HQ in Kuala Lumpur, with the design nearing completion, construction support is now on-going.
